Air traffic with Turkey resumed from June 22, with Bulgaria, Cyprus, Jordan, USA, North Macedonia – from 28. From the same date, flights to Croatia, Greece, Armenia, Serbia are added. Russians can enter these countries for tourist purposes …

Note that since June 28, air traffic with Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Qatar, Switzerland, Finland is also being restored or expanded, but Russian citizens are still prohibited from entering these countries for tourist purposes.

What Russians need to travel for tourism (list by country)

TURKEY

Air traffic: regular and charter flights are provided to Istanbul, Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman from Moscow and the regions.

Visa: not required.

Antique status confirmed by one of the following documents:

  • a certificate of a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus with a QR code (the material must be taken no later than 72 hours before arrival, children under 6 years old are not required);
  • a certificate of a rapid test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen (done no later than 48 hours before arrival, children under 6 years old are not required);
  • a certificate of full vaccination with a drug approved in Turkey (including “Sputnik V”), carried out no earlier than 14 days before arrival (in English with the data of the passport);
  • a certificate from the attending physician about a previous illness with the covid virus over the past six months (the form of the certificate is not indicated, therefore it does not seem to be a very reliable document for entry).

Online application form: required for all passengers over 6 years old, completed three days before arrival in Turkey, printed or downloaded onto a mobile device, presented upon boarding, assumes automatic receipt of a HES code to check into a hotel.

Note that upon arrival in Turkey, tourists can be randomly tested for coronavirus right at the airport. In case of a positive result, the tourist will be placed in a medical facility.

CYPRUS

Cyprus

Air traffic: regular from Moscow and regions to Larnaca and Paphos.

Visa: Cyprus pro-visa is issued online.

Antique status: for unvaccinated tourists – the first PCR test for covid no later than 72 hours before departure (uploaded to www.cyprusflightpass.gov.cy), the second – upon arrival, at its own expense; tourists vaccinated with two doses of “Sputnik V” must provide a certificate in English with passport data (from State Services); vaccinated with a full course of vaccines approved by the European Union also provide a certificate.

Online application form: not required.

BULGARIA

Air traffic: regular from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Mineralnye Vody, Samara, Rostov-on-Don to Sofia, Varna, Burgas.

Visa: Bulgarian or Schengen – can be issued through the sending tour operator or in person at the visa center or consulate; Entry with a Romanian, Croatian or Cypriot visa is allowed (pro-visa is not suitable).

Antique status confirmed by one of the following documents:

  • a certificate of a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus (made no later than 72 hours before arrival);
  • a certificate of a rapid test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen (done no later than 48 hours before arrival);
  • a certificate of complete vaccination with a drug approved in Bulgaria (including “Sputnik V”), made no earlier than 14 days before arrival (in English with the data of the passport);
  • a certificate of a previous illness with the covid virus for a period not earlier than 15-180 days before arrival; for this, it is allowed to present a certificate of a positive result of a PCR test for covid or an antigen test in the same period (tour operators have no experience of entry with such certificates).

Online application: not required.

JORDAN

Air traffic: regular from Moscow to Amman and Aqaba.

Visa: for organized tourists – visa on arrival (fee approximately US $ 70).

Antique status: all tourists need a certificate of PCR testing done no later than 72 hours before departure (not required for children under 5); unvaccinated tourists must pass one more test (at their own expense, and having paid for it in advance online) upon arrival, Russian tourists vaccinated with Sputnik V are exempted from the second test.

Online application: you need to fill out two forms on the site (assumes receipt of a QR code, which will be required upon boarding and upon arrival) and an electronic health declaration On the page

USA

USA

Air traffic: regular flights from Moscow to Washington and New York

Visa: a valid US visa.

Antique status confirmed by one of the following documents:

  • PCR test (with the result in English), made no later than three days before departure (children under 2 years old are not required);
  • a certificate of the transferred coronavirus in English no later than 90 days before the trip (children under 2 years old are not required).

Online application: not required.

NORTHERN MACEDONIA

Air traffic: regular from Moscow to Skopje.

Visa: not required.

Antique status: no need to confirm.

Online application form: not required.

CROATIA

Air traffic: regular from Moscow to Zagreb, Split, Pula, Dubrovnik.

Visa: Croatian or Schengen (according to multi-Schengen, days spent in Croatia are not counted, provided that there is at least one unused day); multivisa for Bulgaria, Romania, Cyprus (except for a pro-visa).

Antique status: Any proof of health status (in English) is fine. For the vaccinated, a full dose of the vaccine is needed (certificates for single-component vaccines, including Sputnik-Light, are also accepted), taken 14 days before arrival, for tests – no later than 48 hours before entry, for a certificate of a past disease – no later than 180 days before the moment of crossing the Croatian border, but with the date of issue no later than 11 days before entry. Children under 7 years old do not need confirmation of antiquity status. After 10 days of stay in Croatia, it is necessary to take a second test (for unvaccinated and non-sick people).

Online application form: not required.

GREECE

Greece

Air traffic: regular from Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Mineralnye Vody, Samara, Krasnodar, Kazan to Athens, Thessaloniki, Crete, Rhodes, Corfu, Araxos, Zakynthos.

Visa: a Greek visa that can be obtained at the EC.

Antique status confirmed by one of the following documents (paper or electronic):

  • a certificate of a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus (done no later than 72 hours before arrival, you can in Russian);
  • a certificate of a rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen (done no later than 48 hours before arrival);
  • a complete vaccination certificate with a drug approved in Bulgaria (including Sputnik V, KoviVac and EpiVacCorona) completed no earlier than 14 days prior to arrival (available in Russian);
  • a certificate of a previous illness with the covid virus for the period from 2-9 months before arrival; this requires a certificate of a positive result of a PCR test for covid in the same period (allowed in Russian).

Online application form: you need to fill out the form on the site assuming receipt of a QR code; to be completed at least one day before arrival in Greece and can be in electronic or printed form.

ARMENIA

Air traffic: regular from Moscow to Yerevan (up to 6 flights per week).

Visa: not needed – entry is also possible with a Russian internal passport.

Antique status: for tourists vaccinated against covid – no other confirmation is needed; for unvaccinated people – PCR test done no later than 72 hours before entry (it is possible to take the test right at the airport upon arrival with the condition of waiting for the result on self-isolation. Children under 1 year old will not need a certificate.

Online application form: not required.

Serbia

Serbia

Air traffic: regular flights from Moscow, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar to Belgrade (2 flights a week from each city).

Visa: need not.

Antique status: all tourists need a certificate with a negative PCR test, made no later than 48 hours before entry. Children under 12 do not need a certificate.

Online application: not required.
